Hello, lovelies! It’s time for Trashy Treasures Tuesday once again, and I have actual trash for you this time! Well, of course I don’t consider it trash, but someone in my neighborhood sure did! I have a gorgeous freebie french chair makeover to share!
My friends have trashy makeovers of their own to share, so be on the lookout for links to their makeovers at the bottom!
This chair was just sitting on the curb waiting for me to come by as I was leaving the neighborhood:
I couldn’t stop fast enough! This thing is HUGE, y’all! It was very awkward trying to put it in my minivan, but I did it ha ha.
The first thing I did was remove the bottom cushion that was held in place by a few screws:
The distressing on this piece was way over the top!
This is NOT how furniture would naturally wear lol.
I’ve included a few affiliate links, so you can find the products I love.
Removing the Oil-based Wax finish
This chair appeared to be waxed with an oil-based wax, so before I could continue any further, that had to be removed. Otherwise, my paint would scratch right off.
To do that, I enlisted the help of some Odorless Mineral Spirits (actually still super stinky):
You can see more about removing oil-based wax like Annie Sloan’s HERE.
Clean
Once I was sure I had dissolved as much of the wax as possible, I cleaned it with my regular go-to paint prep, White Lightning as well:
I used an applicator pad and a scrub brush to be sure I had removed all the residual wax.
Finally, I swapped out the dirty water for clean water and wiped it down once more. Gloves are recommended for both products.
Sand
Once I was sure this chair was good and clean, it was time to sand to smooth out the shabby finish. I did that with 220 grit sandpaper wrapped around an old sanding sponge:
I cleaned up any sanding dust and I was ready for paint!
Prime (just in case)
Well…almost ready for paint. I wasn’t sure if this wood would be a bleeder since it did have a reddish tint to it, so to be cautious, I went ahead and primed with Bonding BOSS in white:
The instructions say to apply two coats, four hours apart, but I only apply ONE coat! I rarely need more than one coat!!
Even if you see some bleed coming through the BOSS, you only need ONE coat in most cases. The key is to let it thoroughly dry for 24 HOURS before painting.
Bonding BOSS is both an adhesion primer and a stain-blocking primer.
Hunting for Fabric
While I was taking a break to allow the Bonding BOSS to dry properly, I started my hunt for the perfect fabric! The fabric would also determine which direction I went in with paint.
I usually find fabric when thrifting, whether it be actual yards of fabric, or a pretty fabric shower curtain, or beautiful drapery panels. However, I didn’t have enough of anything on hand already.
When I do need to purchase fabric, I can usually get lucky at our Walmart, so I started there but…no luck.
The next place I check when looking for fabric is the drapery aisle at HomeGoods, but it was just a sea of beige:
No luck! At this point, I decided to hop online and see if I could find some drapery panels on Amazon that might work, and I did order a pair that could possibly do if all else failed. It was too late to order actual fabric online if I was going to have it in time.
But, the reviews on the curtains I ordered said they were quite sheer, and what if they didn’t work??
So, I kept looking
I went a bit further out and hit up Hobby Lobby. They used to have an entire aisle of decorator fabrics, but it was reduced to this one floor rack, and this was the best they had:
I decided to pass and keep looking.
JoAnn fabrics is going out of business, so I didn’t hold out much hope that I would find anything there, and I was very discouraged at the selection they had left:
It was all 80% of and super picked over. I did like that striped fabric in the second row but it had a felt backing.
Then, I rounded the corner and came across this:
It was about the best thing I had found, and it was super bougie at $34.99 a yard, but with 80% off, it was only $6.99 a yard!
It wasn’t what I had originally envisioned for this chair, but at least I had a direction to go in now. It would have to do.
Paint
After allowing the Bonding BOSS to dry thoroughly for 24 hours, it was time for paint!
I chose Fluff to go with this fabric:
It’s more of a vintage white and looked best against the new fabric.
Sand to smooth
When using chalk mineral paint, you always want to lightly sand to smooth the finish. The lightest sanding will do wonders to give you a buttery soft feel.
I did not want to distress this chair (poor thing needed a break from that!), so one of these fine grit sanding sponges worked perfectly to smooth out the paint without distressing it:
Seal & Highlight the Details with wax
I wanted to highlight all the gorgeous details on this chair, and I decided to do that using Best Dang Wax in brown. Because chalk paint is very porous, it’s important to add a layer of clear wax first.
I applied it with my Belle Brush (any natural bristle brush works well and this was the prefect size):
I removed any excess wax and buffed the surface with a clean, soft cloth.
Then, I repeated the process with the brown wax, using a separate brush:
It was looking great with the fabric:
Then the Amazon Delivery guy showed up!!
And these beautiful curtain panels arrived:
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
PLOT TWIST
This is just the look I had envisioned for this chair all along.
I did have to add a bit more clear wax to the legs to erase some of the brown tint for it to work with this fabric, but it still highlighted the details just as I wanted.
These panels were a bit sheer as the reviews on Amazon had mentioned, so I ran up to HomeGoods and grabbed a linen tablecloth to go underneath:
Upholstering this french chair
I started with the top by cutting the fabric a bit larger all the way around and layering the solid linen under the curtain panel fabric. I used my cheapo staple gun (still haven’t bought an electric/battery operated one). Then, using super sharp fabric scissors, I cut close to the staples all the way around:
Making double welt piping
To hide the raw edges, I made double welt piping in the same fabric. If you can sew a straight line, you can totally make this!
I cut my fabric first with the help of my cutting mat set and straight edge:
Then I made my double welt trim…first folding the fabric over my piping cord, sewing, and then folding it over again, flipping and sewing down the center:
See my full tutorial for making double welt trim HERE.
I trimmed away any excess and then added it to hide the raw edges, using my hot glue gun:
You can use ready-made gimp trim as well like I did HERE.
The seat cushion
For the seat cushion, I removed the black dust cover on the bottom and then the piping as well:
That piping was a bit fatter than what I had on hand, so I removed the fabric so I could reuse it for the new piping.
First, I had to cover the base cushion.
I just laid the cushion on the fabric, and pulled it taut on one side, stapled, then on the other side and stapled, and the did the same with the front, then the back, I did the corners last until it was secured all the way around:
Seat Cushion piping
I made the piping for the seat simply by folding the fabric over the piping and sewing…I didn’t even switch to a different foot. Then I used my staple gun to attach it:
I replaced the black dust cover fabric, then I reattached the seat cushion to the chair, and this makeover was complete!
Freebie Curbside French Chair Makeover Reveal
Here is how this french chair looks now!
Yes??
This chair is now soft and lovely!
Just the slightest amount of brown wax was left in the details, just enough to highlight them…
This chair is so big that I had to use two pillows since one was drowning in there lol.
I knew this fabric was the one when I saw it:
It fits the style of the chair perfectly!
Here’s a peek at the double welt piping I made for the top:
If you remember, the original chair didn’t have any piping at all:
Yikes!! But the trim adds so much:
I would have loved to find a coordinating fabric for the back, but that was just not possible in the time I had, so I did the same for the back:
What do you think?
Did I make the right fabric choice??
I am so happy that I got to save this chair! It had the most beautiful details. I am really tempted to keep it!!
Don’t forget to see what my friends have for you today as well:

Oh my gosh, it is so beautiful!!! You always make the right fabric choice, that is what makes you the DIY Queen! The free chair is so happy that you are the one who found it, now she is well loved and beautiful!! I had a kidney stone last week when you posted your new haul, and that beautiful black table you made over so I didn’t comment, but I loved both. I think I have now joined the” passed kidney stone club”, which my husband is the starter of! He has passed alot of kidney stones and cheered me on the whole time. I would rather give birth than do that again!!!! Your new haul is big, and I can’t wait to see how you make over each and every piece of it, your off to a great start!
Christy says
Thank you so much, my friend! I was so happy to see your comment this morning as you had me worried! Kidney stones don’t sound like the most fun way to spend your week, so I feel for ya! It was good that your hubby was there for you knowing what you were going through. So glad to know you’re okay!! XOXO
Olivia says
The curbside chair turned out perfect. I would have never guessed you used a shower curtain. Excellent job on the paint and upholstery. I think you made the right choice on the fabric.
Christy says
Thank you, Olivia! These were curtain panels, but I have used fabric shower curtains before as well… there are some gorgeous ones out there and you would never know they were shower curtains lol. I think I made the right choice too! XOXO
Larissa ~ Prodigal Pieces says
Beautiful save and great choice on the fabric, Christy.
Christy says
Thank you so much, my friend! XOXO
Janice Redden says
Christy, yes! Perfect fabric choice!! Either would have looked nice but the one you chose is beautiful…i can understand why you would want to keep it.
Christy says
Thank you, Janice! I was resigned to the fact that I might have to use the other fabric, but the blue is really the look I was going for, so I’m glad they worked out! I’m still trying to decide if I can keep this one lol! XOXO
Christine says
Fresh, clean, free and saved from a landfill!
Christy says
Exactly! Glad I could save this lovely piece! XOXO
Kathy W says
Good morning, Christy!!
You’re amazing!! I did not like the chair at all before you got a hold of it. But, beautiful it did turn out after you worked your magic. So much more kind to the eyes!! The fabric is so pretty and softens the look of the chair. I don’t blame you for wanting to keep it. It definitely is a “keeper.”
Kathy W
oxox
Christy says
Thank you so much, Kathy! That is a great way to put it… It really is so much kinder to the eyes lol! I’m still trying to work out if I can keep it! XOXO
Margie says
Love it! Especially with your choice of fabric! I don’t blame you. I’d keep it too. You do amazing work! Margie \TN
Christy says
Thank you, Margie! I appreciate that so much! XOXO
Mary C King says
It came out beautifully! Both fabrics would have been great, but love the one with the soft blue!!
Christy says
Thank you so much, my friend! I was so tickled to see that the blue would work after all as that was the look I had envisioned. Hope you’re doing well! XOXO
Kellee Kroll says
I actually think this one’s a keeper!!
Christy says
I think so too!! Thanks, Kellee! XOXO
Jackie C says
I’m in love with this gorgeous chair!
Keep it.
Christy says
Aww thank you, Jackie! I think I have to! XOXO
Gayle Stewart says
Beautiful, Christie! And a beautiful job! Would you be willing to share the Amazon link for the panel? Finding fabric now, in person, has gotten quite difficult.
Christy says
Thanks so much, Gayle! Of course! You can find it here: https://amzn.to/4mf9A0m Finding fabric in person is a chore for sure! XOXO
Nana Diana says
That chair is absolutely perfect~ Right material for sure. I haven’t been around much -dealing with some auto-immune issues but finally starting to feel human again.
I have a few pieces I HAVE to paint and some cushions I need to reupholster. I have a question for you. When you make your piping do you cut your fabric on the bias? Just curious. I have to make a bunch for the projects I have going on here. I usually cut the fabric on the bias.
Have a lovely day! Diana
Christy says
Thank you, Diana! I’m so glad to see you pop into the comments today! I always wonder if y’all are okay if you go missing for a bit. I don’t pay attention to the bias whatsoever, and I have never had an issue with my piping. Enjoy your day too, my friend! XOXO
Denise - Salvaged Inspirations says
This is a big hell-yessss for me and I think it’s a keeper! The super bougie fabric was lovely but Im in LOVE with the amazon fabric with the linen underneath. I always learn so much with your sewing projects ty! Pinned XOXO
Christy says
Aww thank you so much, my friend! I’ll admit that the other one feels better, but let’s be honest, this chair is just for looking pretty anyway lol! XOXO
Vicki Bauerel says
I love this chair! the fabric is perfect, it looks so comfortable. I would definitely keep it! You had a good vision of what it could be…I couldn’t see it, I wish I had that talent.
Christy says
Aww thank you, Vicki! It was very hard to see past what had be done to it before ha ha! XOXO
Rhonda Dunaway says
Absolutely, you made the right fabric choice! Your fabric shopping journey is almost identical to the one I went on last weekend here in Omaha, NE. Our Hobby Lobby has a few more aisles of fabric than the one near you, but I often leave empty handed. Thank you for the tip on ordering Amazon curtain panels to use as upholstery fabric! I hadn’t thought of doing that before, and it makes me so happy that I’m not going to be limited to Hobby Lobby’s selection. You did beautiful work on the chair; it is gorgeous! And yes, I think you should keep it. If you sell it, you will probably wistfully remember it being “the one you let get away.”
Christy says
Thank you so much, Rhonda! I can’t believe how difficult it was to find fabric! Had I had more time, I probably would have searched out actual yardage of fabric from a fabric source online, but the curtain panels worked great with my limited time frame! I think you are right…I really have to keep it or there will be regrets lol! XOXO
Silke says
Absolutely stunning!
Christy says
Thanks so much, Silke! XOXO
Susan Ross Hill says
Worth all the travelling around! Perfection…love that it is oversized! What will you price this at?
Christy says
I agree! Thank you, Susan! I’m actually thinking I have to keep it now ha ha. XOXO
Marcie Lovett says
I’d have driven right past that forlorn failed DIY, but not Christy! Even when I think the only hope for that hulking chair is Halloween decor, you find a way to make it look fresh and current. The fabric has a hint of brown in the background, and the brown wax makes sense as an accent. Lovely job!
Christy says
Ha ha! You are so funny! Thank you, Marcie! It was already looking like a Halloween prop in its distressingly distressed state! Glad you like the outcome, my friend! XOXO
Cyndi says
OMG! It’s perfect! And just the right amount of dark wax to pull out the details now. It’s a keeper, for sure!
Christy says
Thank you so much, Cyndi! The wax did just enough to make the details stand out for sure! XOXO
Laura J says
Simply gorgeous Christy! You can never go wrong with blue & white. KEEP THE CHAIR!!! LOL.
Christy says
Thank you, Laura! I agree! And ha ha… I think I have to keep it! XOXO
Fran says
I anxiously awaited this one. You did not disappoint! I love your final choice of fabric. Incidentally, My cousins wife and I were in JoAnns yesterday and the selection is definitely slim. I am finally teaching someone to sew! No granddaughters, so when she wanted to learn I was happy to teach her. Grandsons are great but did not have interest. Absolutely fabulous!
Christy says
Aww thanks, Fran! I’m so glad you like the outcome! Sewing seems like a dying art for sure. I too have boys, but my youngest son actually took teen living in middle school and had to sew a pair of shorts ha ha. I was so excited to help! XOXO
Jan Murray says
Christy, Wow, this chair turned out perfect.
I adore your vision of these things. Great job, love your blog.
Christy says
Thank you so much, Jan! Than means a lot to me!! XOXO
Nancy @ Artsy Chicks Rule says
That is simply stunning now!! The blue fabric was made for it. Drop it back off at the house you picked it up at!! They’ll want that back!! haha!! xoxo
Christy says
Thank you, Nancy! I am so glad the blue worked out. Ha ha…I thought for a second about posting it on our neighborhood FB page to say thank you to the person who was ditching it! XOXO
Kay says
The chair looks wonderful! Always love to see your creativity at work!
Christy says
Thanks so much, Kay! It makes my day to know you enjoy what I share, my friend! XOXO
Catherine says
As ALL have said…you did a fantastic job! So much work…you are so talented and have such dedication to your art! Thanks for all of it…even when I don’t comment, just know I’m always a fan!
Christy says
Thank you so much, Catherine! Even if you don’t always comment, I appreciate you for visiting and following along!! XOXO
gloria says
I’d really like to see at least ONE photo of the chair WITHOUT all the pillows and the throw covering over 90% of the upholstery. I would help me get an idea of how the scale of the print looks on a large chair like that one.
Christy says
Hi Gloria! I just sent you a photo! XO
p says
That nasty chair had beautiful lines. I Knew you would make her beautiful again. The other fabric would have worked. I also liked the Hobby Lobby fabric. Pretty neutral print.
But, now I see why you wanted this soft blue fabric. Definitely perfect for this chair / style. Love the delicate floral details. You do have a good eye.
I’ve sewn most of my clothes for years as a kid. Glad I learned.
(my daughter was never interested)
I have reupholstered some smaller simple pieces, but never have used piping. Wow – it added such a finishing detail ! Thanks for your clear process – think I’ll try next time.
Definitely a keeper. I hope you find a place for her.
Christy says
Thank you, P! This fabric gave me the look I had envisioned, so I was bummed when my searches led to nothing at all similar. Glad I ordered these drapery panels just in case. My mom sewed a ton when we were kids, and I was the only one who was interested in learning. I too made many of my clothes when I was younger and then I moved onto quilting. It really honed my sewing skills! It’s a lost art these days for sure. Glad you enjoyed this one, my friend! XOXO
Michele M. says
Holy smokes, lady, you’ve done it again. That is stunning. I love BOTH fabrics. I’m pretty keen on an earthy mushroom color so I am excited to see what you end up doing with that other “bougie” fabric down the road.
Christy you never fail to impress with your incredible skills and visions for things. That chair is truly beautiful! And you know why those chairs are so wide? They were designed that way to accommodate those huge bustles and hoops ladies of bygone eras. ♥ And for modern times to accommodate our much larger bottoms haha. Mine anyway lol.
Christy says
Aww thanks, Michele! I have eight yards of that fabric, so I’m sure you’ll see it eventually lol! Yes…I can see that now…perfect resting place for all the junk in the trunk! 😀 XOXO
Carol S says
The blue fabric was perfect. I was “meh” about the brownish choice, so I’m glad you could use what you knew was best. I did a similar chair, and it’s ALOT of work! Kudos to you for getting all that done. I couldn’t cover over any of my fabric since it was peeling “pleather” and a crumbly mess. You got lucky there. Congrats on a great job!
Christy says
Me too, Carol! I just wasn’t feeling the brown. The blue definitely saved the day! And I can just picture the crumbling pleather as I have had that with a chair before…not fun! I got lucky here for sure…thank you! XOXO
Charleen says
You are surely a fairy godmother. !!!You took the poor little match girl and turned her into Cinderella.. ,with her fancy welting and lovely blue gown . Beautiful.
Christy says
Aww thank you, Charleen! I am so thrilled I got to save her!! XOXO
Donna Smith says
I love that you buy from thrift stores, marketplace and pickup from the curb. Having done that myself and found nothing more than an occasional dead fly or spider, are you ever concerned about embedded critters such as bed bugs?
Christy says
Thank you, Donna! I am sure that can happen, but I have been very fortunate to have not had any such issues in the almost 13 years I’ve been doing this. Upholstered items at the thrift stores have a tag on them to say they have been “sanitized”, whatever that means lol, and everything stays in the garage until I can get to it, so I’m not bringing anything into our home until it has been redone. XOXO
Liz Shivel says
Hi Christy, the chair is beautiful and that fabric was the best choice! Awesome job! That’s a big chair! It should be the “special event” chair, for birthdays, or any “special” event or person chair!
Christy says
Hi Liz! I hope you are well! Thank you so much! I am really trying to keep this one and it would be ideal for all those special events! XOXO
Hannah R says
Gorgeous! Well done. After a hard search you found the perfect fabric. That chair belongs in my house!!
Christy says
Thanks so much, Hannah! The most tiring part may have been the fabric search lol! And I see we have the same taste! XOXO
Liliane says
The chair is absolutely beautiful. I just love it. Thank you for sharing.
Christy says
I am so glad you like it, Liliane, thank you! XOXO
Cecilia says
Ahhhh, much, much better! Love the blue fabric so yes, good choice. Did you leave the old fabric on the bottom cushion or replace it too with the linen underneath? I hate that it’s getting harder to find fabric. I want to see and touch it before buying. Sigh.
😊 Cecilia
Christy says
Thank you, my friend! I did leave the old fabric in place; it was intact and in decent condition, so that was definitely easier. I agree…I like to feel and see the fabric in person as well! XOXO
Melanie Beavis says
Hi Christy, I am a big fan of yours! But I have a question about the old fabric. In the before shots, it looks quite dirty and smelly, perhaps? Why did you not remove the old fabric? Obviously, it’s more work to do so. Just wondering. Thanks!
Christy says
Thank you, Melanie! It was not smelly at all and aside from a small area on the seat, it was in pretty good condition. In that case, it is much easier to just upholster over the old fabric. Had it been smelly, I definitely would have removed it. XOX
Niki says
Ooo la la!! This chair is fantastic Christy. It’s been a while since I checked in on your site but I’m glad I did today. That Jacobean print fabric is amazing!! It’s too bad you had all that trouble finding fabric but it all worked out great.
Christy says
What? I’m not the first place you go on Tuesdays and Thursdays?? Ha ha, just kidding! I’m so glad you stopped by today too! And yes, I am so thrilled with this fabric! Thank you, Niki! XOXO
Linda says
Right, they won’t know it’s the same chair. Great vision on the fabric choice! The black fabric underneath is usually Cambric. I don’t always have enough fabric for sewing welt cord on the bias; which is done for flexibility around curves. Also looks nice with checked patterns, you’ll see the difference. I like the large size to curl up in or accommodate any person, we’re all different sizes. Hope you find a place for hanging on to it!
Christy says
I thought about posting a photo on our neighborhood FB page to say thank you to the person who left it on the curb ha ha! Cambric…yes, that is exactly what it is, thank you! I don’t cut on the bias for that reason, and I have never had an issue with it taking the curves even on the curviest of pieces, thankfully. This is a very nice sized chair, and you are right…some of us are curvier than others lol. Hoping I can accommodate it. Thank you so much, Linda! XOXO
Geri Davis says
Oh I love that chair! Yay for Amazon showing up just in time, the blue is so pretty. I’d keep her if it was me, but I say that about almost everything I refinish!
One of these days I’ll try a project with piping like you do! Thanks for sharing your talent!
Christy says
I’m so glad you like it, Geri! Thank you! The blue is just what I was after, and yes, the piping is not hard at all. I hope you give it a go! XOXO
Carroll Xavier says
I vote keep! Gorgeous rescue of that poor chair, and definitely the right choice of fabric. Perfect reading corner chair…
Christy says
I vote keep too ha ha! I am trying to! It is actually not that comfy, but it sure is perty! Thank you so much, Carroll!
Caye says
That chair is just lovely now. I have to say, it was plumb ugly before. But, you had a vision, you kept to it, and now it is a beautiful swan. KUDOS, CHRISTY!!!
Christy says
Thank you, Caye! I am so glad I grabbed this lady off the curb and saved her!! XOXO
Petra says
Ok, that’s it! You make these beautiful transformations but I can’t have any of them!! It’s just far too pretty 😀
Christy says
Ha ha! If only you were closer!! Thank you so much, my friend! XOXO
Jewels says
As always a winner! Yes, I like the blue as well. Thank you for taking us on your search for just the right fabric how fun! Love your step by steps too. Bravo! 💙
Christy says
Aww thank you, Jewels! I’m so glad you enjoyed the shopping ha ha! XOXO
Gayle M says
“I did not want to distress this chair (poor thing needed a break from that!)” You are hilarious. Love the chair, it’s beautiful.
Christy says
I’m sure the chair was traumatized from it ha ha! Thank you, Gayle! XOXO
Cher says
Absolutely stunning Christy! The fabric is chef’s kiss! I have several chairs similar to this that need redone – I wish you lived in Texas! With some courage and a lot of luck, I will eventually take them on. Thank you for providing such great instruction, tips and tricks. You do amazing work! God bless!
Christy says
Thank you so much, Cher! I really appreciate that! You can totally do this! XOXO
Missy says
The chair is so lovely! I’ve never done any double piping. Would love to learn how! Do you have any tips on using a staple gun? I have tried manual and electric ones but get so frustrated with all the misfires!
Christy says
Thank you, Missy! I included my how-to for double piping in this post…if you can sew a straight line, you can totally make it! As for the staple gun, I have used a manual staple gun for years, but my aging hands really need an electric one. I press the manual staple gun down really firm and fire. Misfires usually happen in wood that is very hard. XOXO
Karen says
I couldn’t wait to get to the end of this post to see the finished product! Absolutely beautiful, and I would definitely NOT give that one up. I did a very similar project with a chair I dragged home from my neighborhood walk. (I kept mine for sure, because it was a real workout toting that baby home!)
I do not know how you get the courage to cut into a brand-new set of curtains and tablecloth, though! I would have had to order another pair for the chair! I am a die-hard thrifter and couldn’t bring myself to cut up something new. I’d have to use the new ones on the windows for at least a little while to overcome the guilt! LOL Beautiful fabric choice, though. I can’t wait to see the rest of the haul.
Christy says
I’m so glad you enjoyed the finished product, Karen! I was really trying to keep it, but honestly, it isn’t quite as comfy as the two chairs I have currently that it would replace. It sure is prettier though! And ha ha…I didn’t think twice about cutting into those items since I just saw them as fabric, but it may have had something to do with a short deadline to get this piece done lol. I didn’t have time to think about it! Thank you! XOXO
Cheryl Atkinson says
Hi Christy! What a great grab and a great makeover. I would definitely keep it. It looks like a good reading chair.
Christy says
Thank you, Cheryl! I was trying hard to keep it, but ultimately, it ended up in my booth. I may regret that decision, but I didn’t want to get rid of either chair I had that it would replace. It sure was a pretty one though! XOXO
kathy Owen says
You are so talented. Another home run!
Christy says
Thank you, my friend! XOXO

Christy, this shabby French chair sings to my heart ♥
Thank you for sharing your chair makeover at Create, Bake, Grow & Gather this week. I’m delighted to be featuring it at the party tonight and pinning too.

Thank you so much, my friend! I truly appreciate the feature! XOXO

Outstanding!
Christy says
Thank you, my friend! I really deliberated over keeping this one, but ultimately, it ended up in my booth! XOXO
